Marie-Josee came to me over a year ago with an interest to compete in the figure division. She felt she was ready and had a good physique to enter a competition. I took a look at her and recommended her to wait and continue to improve as I felt her physique simply wasn’t developed enough to enter a competition and be competitive. She wasn’t too happy with my feedback at first and I didn’t hear from her for a good 6 months. She then came back to see me realizing I was right and chose to do a 1 year prep with me to first improve her weaknesses on her body then diet her down for the show.
Her patience and hard work paid off! At 46 years old, she placed 2nd in the Masters category and 1st in the Open tall class beating out girls half her age at the APQ Natural Provincial Championships. This woman’s work ethic and drive to achieve her goals is untouchable. Now we are preparing for her first National event which will likely be in March of 2016 (if I feel she is ready for this level). Very proud of you Marie-Josee! Keep up the great work!.
I was a “cardio girl” for the better part of my life. I only started weight training 3 years ago. Did not think much about competing cause I did not have a good image of bodybuilding. It’s only a year and a half ago that my desire for competing emerged.
Not knowing where to begin, a friend of the gym told me about Chris and how great of a wizard he is. Everything he said is true and more. With his dedication and knowledge, Chris helped me with my goal to success !! Now that he passed on his passion of bodybuilding to me, we are working together to push even further and on the next level.
